Our Marva Silent Bass Angler's fourth tournament was held at our second time in Marva history at Christopher Run ramp last Saturday, June 21 2008.
There were 12 of us who fished at the Lake Anna. The weather was sunshine in the morning and party cloudy in the afternoon. The average of water temperature was 80 degrees. The water clarity at North Lake Anna was stain and south Lake Anna was clear. At the end of the tournament, all 12 anglers who caught the total of 35 bass, weighed 40.85 pounds altogether.
Tommy Cook won his second tournament. He caught 4 bass using buzz bait. The total weight was 7.43 lbs. Judd Rexroth was in second place with 5 bass which weighed 7.21 lbs. He used his green senko would have first place but two bass dead minus loss by .50. Daniel Whetzel was in third place with 4 bass which weighed 5.37 lbs with stick worm. Judd Rexroth won lunker of the day 3.68 lbs. Congratulations to Tommy Cook for winning his first place. We also welcome long time ago member back Judd Rexroth.
