Our Marva Silent Bass
Angler's first tournament was held at Pohick Bay ramp
last Saturday, April 22, 2006.
There were 9 anglers showed
up and we had 4 boats. The weather was 65 degree, cloudy and shower. The water temperature was 65-67 degree and they were so clear.
There were only 13 largemouth
bass that had been caught, and the total weight was 34.53 lbs. Only
5 out of 9 anglers caught largemouth bass (over 15 inches).
Jason Teramae won first
places again. He caught 4 bass using texas rig and senko.
His bass weight was 10.98 lbs. Danny Duckwall was in second
place with 3 bass which weigh 7.93 lbs. John Foranish was in third place with 3 bass which weigh 7.76. And also what a big suprise that Sam Harris was listed in first Marva History that he caught snakehead! His size was 22 1/2 inches and weigh 4.47 lbs. Wow that snakehead's body looked like a real snake with ugly teeth. Anyway, we would like to congratulate to Jason Teramae!
