Our Marva Silent Bass
Angler's third tournament was held at Cozy Cove ramp
on VA last Saturday, May 21, 2005.
There were 16 anglers showed
up at the 3rd tourney. We had 7 boats. The weather was nice and
sunny all day. The temperature was 70 degree. The water temperature
was around 69 to 72 degree.
The last time we were at Chesdin
Lake since November 2001. The biggest bass who has caught 5.12 oz
by Grizzly Pullen in 1993.
There were only 16 largemouth
bass that had been caught, and the total weight was 24.29 lbs. Only
9 out of 16 anglers caught largemouth bass.
John Forinash won his first tournament.
He caught 3 bass including one big lunker which weigh 5.74 lbs He
use his same favoriate 1/4 spinnerbait. 2nd place - Mike Wright
caught one bass using his favoriate Berkley power worm. 3rd place
- Tony Schiffiano caught one bass using red shad senko. John Forinash
beat Marva lunker George Watts's bass was 5.39 last March at Lake
Anna. We would like to congratulate to John Forinash!
