Our Marva Silent Bass
Angler's second tournament was held at Pohick Bay ramp
on VA last Saturday, April 30th, 2005.
There were 12 anglers showed
up at the 2nd tourney. We had 9 boats. The weather was cold, cloudy
and chillly. The weather were cloudy and shower all in the morning
and the temperature was 65 degree. The water temperature was around
61 degree.
We are thrilled to fish with
Maryland Deaf Bassmaster anglers at Potomac River however they prefer
to weigh in on Maryland side at Marshall ramp. We need to have top
five fishermen which has their total weight.
There were only 7 largemouth
bass that had been caught, and the total weight was 18.42 lbs. Only
7 out of 12 anglers caught largemouth bass.
Tony Schiffiano won his first
tournament. He caught 1 bass using baby brush hog with texas rig.
His bass weight was 3.13 lbs. Our rookie Pete Kensicki was in second
place again with 1 bass which weighed 2.92 lbs. He threw his baby
back & chartesque belly crankbait to catch 1 bass. John Forinash
was in third place with 1 bass which weighed 2.86 lbs. He used his
favorite spinnerbait. We would like to congratulate to Tony Schiffiano!
