Our Marva Silent Bass
Angler's fifth tournament was held at Fort Washington marina ramp
on Sunday, Oct.10th, 2004.
There were 5 of us who fished
at the Potomac River. The weather was sunny and cool in the morning
and windy in the afternoon. The average of water temperature was
65 in south and 67 near Woodbrow Wilson bridge. The water murky
and clear at some areas. Fishing at Potomac River was tough due
to cold front. At the end of the tournament, only 4 out of 5 anglers
who caught the total of 5 bass, weighed xxxx pounds altogether.
Our Marva famous CR man Tony
has finally won 1st place since 2002. He caught 2 bass using senko
and worm. The total weight was 2.97 lbs. Kevin Bray was in second
place with 1 bass which weighed 2.26 lbs. He used his favorite spinnerbait
and also he won lunker of the day. Ricky Cornish was in third place
with 1 bass which weighed 1.52 lbs. He used spinnerbait.
