Our Marva Silent Bass
Angler's fifth tournament was held at High Point marina ramp
on Satrday, Sept.11th, 2004.
There were 9 of us who fished
at the Lake Anna. The weather was cloudy in the morning and sunny
in the afternoon. The average of water temperature was 80 degrees.
The water clarity at North Lake Anna was stain and south Lake Anna
was clear. Fishing at Lake Anna was pretty tough due to cold front.
At the end of the tournament, only 8 out of 9 anglers who caught
the total of 22 bass, weighed 14.35 pounds altogether.
Kevin Wilkinson won his first
tournament. He caught 5 bass using worm. The total weight was 4.06
lbs who haven't won 1st place since 2002. Mike Wright was in second
place with 4 bass which weighed 3.49 lbs. He used his favorite worm.
John Fornaish was in hird place with 2 bass which weighed 2.70 lbs
and also he won lunkder of the day 2.27 lbs. He used worm and senko.
