Our Marva Silent Bass
Angler's first tournament was held at Pohick Bay ramp
on Sunday, July 18th, 2004.
There were 7 of us who fished
at the Potomac River. The storm had left before we blasted off.
There were a few drizzles in the morning. The rest of the day was
dry and cloudy. The average of water temperature was 80 degrees.
The water clarity at Pohick Creek was muddy and stain, but at Broad,
Ft. Washington Creeks, the water was stain to clear. There were
a lot of grassy, weeds, and algae this time. At the end of the tournament,
only 3 anglers caught total of 7 bass, weighed 11.16 pounds altogether.
The 3 Senkos, 3 Sluggos and a Spinnerbait lures were used to fool
those BASS!
Congratulations to Jason Teramae for winning 3rd time in a row.
He also won the Lunker of the Day – 17 inches and 2.72 lbs.
