Our Marva Silent Bass
Angler's first tournament was held at Pohick Bay ramp
on Saturday, Apri 24th, 2004.
There were 13 anglers showed
up the 2nd tourney of 2004. We had 7 boats. The weather was cloudy
and partly sunny. The temperature was around 70 degree.
The water temperature was around 69-74 degree. The river water in
south was clear/stained and north was stained/murky.
There were only 11 largemouth
bass that had been caught, and the total weight was 25.35 lbs. Only
7 out of 13 anglers caught largemouth bass.
Jason Teramae won his first tournament.
He caught 4 over 15 inches bass with blue fleck worm. His total
weight was 8.40 lbs who missed two tournaments at Potomac River
last year. Mike Wright was in second place with 2 over 15 inches
bass which weighed 5.28 lbs. He threw his favorite poe firetiger
crankbait to catch two bass. Bob Seremeth was in third place with
1 bass which weighed 2.81 lbs. He also won lunker of the day. He
used Bobby's Seremeth, Jr.'s comment about using Bandit crankbait
and he used his favorite Bandit crankbait. We would like to congratulate
to Jason Teramae!
