Our Marva Silent
Bass Angler's fifth tournament was held at Chickahominy River
at Riverside Campground, VA on August 16th, 2003.
There were 13 anglers showed
up the fifth tourney of 2003. We had 7 boats. The weather
was cool, shower and partly cloudy. The air temperature was
around 80-88 degree. The water temperature was around 83-87
degree.
There were only 5 largemouth
bass that had been caught, and the total weight was 14.55
lbs. Only 5 out of 13 anglers caught largemouth bass.
Chris von Garrel won the
tournament. He caught 2 bass using jig and worm. The total
weight was 3.93 lbs. Jason Teramae was in second place with
one bass which weighed 3.58 lbs. He used 7 inches worm. Delmas
Woodall was in third place with 2 bass which weighed 3.45
lbs. We would like to congratulate to Chris von Garrel!
