Marva Report
Potomac River, Pohick Bay, VA
Saturday, June 28th, 2003

Our Marva Silent Bass Angler's fourth tournament was held at Potomac River at Pohick Bay State Park ramp on Sunday, June 28th, 2003.

There were 11 anglers showed up the fourth tourney of 2003. We had 5 boats. The weather was partly cloudy/sunny breeze. The air temperature was around 60 degree. The water temperature was around 74-80 degree.

There were only 17 largemouth bass that had been caught, and the total weight was 28.17 lbs. Only 7 out of 10 anglers caught largemouth bass.

Charles Gornto won the tournament. He caught five bass with crankbait and worm. The total weight was 8.23 lbs. Bobby Seremeth, Jr. was in second place with four bass which weighed 6.47 lbs. He used crankbait and worms. John Forinash was in third place with three bass which weighed 4.16 lbs. We would like to congratulate to Charles Gornto!
