Our Marva Silent
Bass Angler's third tournament was held at Dundee Creek Marina
on Sunday, May 18th, 2003.
There were 10 anglers showed
up the third tourney of 2003. We had 7 boats. The weather
was shower and cloudy. The temperature was around 50-55 degree.
The water temperature was around 54-61 degree. The water was
murky and stained.
There were only 7 largemouth
bass that had been caught, and the total weight was 23.24
lbs. Only five out of 10 anglers caught largemouth bass. In
addition to that, some of MD Bass club members showed up at
Dundee Marina.
Chris von Garrel won the
tournament. He caught three bass with crankbait, stud, and
worm. The total weight was 10.14 lbs which broke Kevin Bray's
best total weight at Dundee Creek 8.39 lbs last October 2002.
Paul Rosado was in second place with one big bass which weighed
4.05 lbs. He threw a 1/4 oz spinnerbait to catch 4 pounders.
He also won lunker of the day. Jason Teramae was in third
place with one bass which weighed 3.80 lbs. He used a texas
rig w/ lizard in green pumpkin color. We would like to congratulate
to Chris von Garrel!
